I must say your site has helped me substationnaly. I have just got my first air brush I just kind of jumped into it. I have tried to find an ansewer for this question via the search engines, but have came up empty. I was wondering if you provide some insight for me, I need to know if when you surpass the airbrush's maximum psi, and it starts acting funny, is it garbage? or is it repairable?

Oh the frieghter from Beaty was actucally John Lane, a merchant from Calico who had to relocate when Calico busted out after the turn of the century. His wife's name was Lucy and she lived into the 60's.
If you have any other photographs of Daggett during that era, please share. Thanks,

A million thanks, your "USB Power Spec" page confirmed a lot of my assumptions and answered a few questions.

In there you mentioned you didn't (maybe you do now) have a USB charger for AA/AAA batteries. I wanted to tell you I have a USB charger for AA batteries, can charge 4 at the same time, but to fully charge 4x 1800mA NiMH AAs take about 2 days (can't complaint, as it is 5V at 500mA). With an AAA to AA adapter, it charges my AAA NiMH batteries also.

Not sure where you are based, but contact me if you still want one. Not expensive at all.

Thanks.

Recently I picked up a bachman Big Hauler for $60 bucks at an antique shop. It came minus the track. The box says radio controlled. model number 90-0100 However it has quite the computer board setup in the tender, and Im not so certain it is the same loco as came in the box. No place for batteries in the engine or tender. It also doesnt advertise as being a smoking train, but it does have a smoke unit in the smoke stack. Needless to say it doesnt work with just the radio controller. Any info would be appreciated.

Hi George.
Very interesting pages on the iPod + camera adaptor and USB power supply.
I like the scientific approch (I am a scientist myself).
I have been puzzling around with some thooughts to find a solution to the power consumption when transferring photos from digicam to iPod. Unfortunately I am not in electronics (but in chemistry)so I am a bit on non-secure ground. I would like to know if it is possible to make a cable /kind of Y-cable)which connects Ipod USB power supply to the USB cable that connects camera to iPod?. I know that USB cables consists of 4 wires + shield. could these wires simply be connected?
I like to travel light and avoid to bring a lot of adaptors/hubs/etc..
I can send a drawing. You may respond to my e-mail. Replace xxx with yahoo and yy with dk.
From a lot of groups I know this is a hot object.
Thanks and best regards

George, been using your site now for years as I have been researching the best way to finally build my RR. For years I collected and now am about to start the effort. Still, many questions were unanswered, and continuing research continued on my end. I am building a track powered outdoor layout with DCC control and two major issues have now been resolved. What kind of track to use has been determined as Stainless Steel and how to deliver the power effectively. I think I have resolved that question as well by using over 99 percent pure copper 110 strand #10 buriable cable. That should deliver near 100% of the power output to the rails and can be found from a company called Parts Express. They specialize in Audio supplies. Audiophiles need clean power to the speakers and that's DC as I understand it. So this solution to the track cable issue should be near perfect. Thanks for your efforts to develop and maintain your site. It's wonderful!
